3/19 - Chapter 10 Review This is a quiz that you take on-line in Google Classroom. You must complete it by 3/20 3/20 - Long-term Project work You should continue to work on your Long-term project Your outline is due Mar 27. It should be turned in to Google classroom 3/20 - Yes! Yes!Yes! Map Games This is an on-going assignment. You need to practice at least once a week every week. Remember to send me a note so you get your 5 points every week.
3/30 - Read Chapter 11 in the textbook (pp 312-335) and watch the two attached videos. This chapter covers Industrial Revolution (late 1700s) until present day. This means that this one chapter is going to cover 200-300 years. That's a long time - several wars, the rise of new countries, the destruction of many of Europe's dynasties, and the rise of the European Union. You will need to read slowly and carefully and taking notes would be a very good idea. I have attached a video that covers the beginning of the material (The Industrial Revolution), and 2 videos that covers the end of the material (the Cold War and the European Union). The videos might make it easier to understand the information in the chapter. The first one will help you understand how big a change the Industrial Revolution was and the last two will give you a better idea about the Cold War and the European Union. I do not expect you to have this assignment completed until the Thursday after Easter (April 16). 4/23 – The first draft of the website must be available for viewing. This means that the website is essentially complete but that editing of individual pages still needs to be done. The reference page should be in final form by this time. 4/30 – Website complete. Your ability to edit the website will be removed.
